ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for an engaged and reliable personal assistant for one of our clients in Vänersborg. The position is a temporary role at approximately 50% and the working hours are scheduled between 08:00-21:00, both weekdays and weekends. Start date is according to agreement, but we would prefer that you can begin the introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 13-year-old girl living in Vänersborg with her family. She does not speak but communicates through body language and sign language. She can walk independently and uses a wheelchair when needed. Furthermore, she has a PEG and a significant need for care. The tasks involve helping her with daily activities such as personal hygiene, diaper changes, dressing and undressing, feeding, and medication.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who can follow the client's routines and schedule. It is important that you are stress-resistant, determined, and able to set boundaries. You also need to be pedagogical, flexible, present, and responsible. The work is performed both in her home and in a school environment, which means you should feel comfortable in different types of environments and be able to adapt to the client's needs. Our client prefers female applicants and great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Speak good Swedish
• Have a valid extract from the criminal record

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Experience working with children with disabilities
• Experience with epilepsy, PEG, medication, and sign language
• Trained nursing assistant, educator, or similar
• Experience with Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
