We are now looking for a Project Manager

We are looking for a project manager for one of our land districts focusing on complex development projects and assignments for our internal customers for projects in Stockholm.

About the position

You have a key role with overall responsibility for the project, and together with your colleagues, you ensure that the project is directed towards set goals. As a project manager, you build relationships and ensure that we improve together with our customers.

As a project manager with us, you are part of the district's management team and work to develop and steer the district in important strategic issues in close collaboration with the district manager. The district aims to be at the forefront and continuously develop and improve, striving for a culture characterized by humility, collaboration, solution orientation, and engagement.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• working with the business and production from the bidding and calculation phase to handing over the project to the customer and being responsible for the project during the warranty period
• being responsible for budget, planning, and establishing the project plan
• steering the project towards set financial and production goals that meet our customers' expectations
• developing well-functioning and successful teams together with the production manager
• actively working for a culture based on our values where diversity and inclusion are important components
• contributing to Skanska continuing to be a role model regarding climate-adapted community building, safety, and profitability

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in land and construction projects, including a couple of years in the role of project manager or a similar position. You also have experience in leadership within production as a foreman and/or production manager, as well as a technical education in construction or equivalent knowledge.

Experience in collaborative projects and an established network within the land and construction industry is an advantage.

As a person, you are responsible, driven, and structured in your work. You are communicative and easily create contacts, both internally and externally. You have a genuine interest in motivating and developing employees. Your leadership style is inclusive and communicative, and you have the ability to engage and inspire your colleagues to achieve our common goals.

Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as good IT skills, are required.
