We are looking for a HVAC Project Leader for an authority within the Swedish power system.

The position is part-time, with a scope of 50 percent. Security clearance is required.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and cooperation skills.

The Assignment

The authority is responsible for ensuring that the electricity transmission system is safe, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective - today and in the future. It operates as a state-owned enterprise and has over 1400 employees, the majority of whom work at the headquarters in Stockholm. In October 2023, the authority signed a conditional lease agreement for a new office location. The premises are 52,000 usable square meters located in Solna Business Park. Here, they aim to develop a modern office in an area with a strong service offering and good communications. The property is spread over 11 floors and will include both office and technical facilities. For certain parts of the premises, the authority will act as the developer and be responsible for design and completion according to applicable regulations.

To be suitable for the assignment, the consultant must have very good knowledge of HVAC design and production. The tasks will be both practical and administrative. Job Responsibilities

• Operationally responsible for your sub-project's schedule, budget, and results
• Develop requirements specifications and competence needs for the implementation of the sub-project.
• Request and ensure resource needs for implementation within the sub-project
• Plan, follow up, and report project progress to the Sub-project Leader Construction and Project Leader Technical Coordination
• Collaboration and dialogue with stakeholders to identify needs and requirements.
• Coordinate operational requirements with other technical principles.
• Manage risks in the project according to the authority's routines
• Responsible for the production of HVAC documentation and all design within the tenant's areas.
• Contribute with advice, support, and implementation of HVAC issues in consultation with the developer and property owner
• Contribute with advice, support, and implementation of HVAC for the project's execution
• Preparation of procurement documents according to LOU, LUF, and LUFS.
• Assist the procurement unit with knowledge and evaluation of bids.
• Prioritize and make decisions, as well as lead the work towards planned orders, deliveries, and installations
• Responsible for producing drawings, calculations, descriptions, cost estimates, and other documents for HVAC systems.
• Responsible for ensuring that HVAC systems comply with applicable laws, standards, environmental requirements, and the client's wishes.
• Responsible for coordinating HVAC design with other technical areas, such as electrical, ventilation, fire, acoustics, moisture, etc.
• Responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and controls of HVAC installations.
• Responsible for providing advice and support to the client on HVAC issues.

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent in HVAC technology or HVAC engineer. At least 10 years of work experience leading HVAC design assignments in the range of at least 10,000-20,000 square meters GFA. At least 10 years of work experience in HVAC systems' function, sizing, design, and installation. At least 8 years of work experience regarding laws, standards, environmental requirements, and industry standards for HVAC technology. At least 6 years of work experience with computer-based tools for HVAC design such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Meritorious

Experience in producing at least 1 project related to HVAC design documentation for procurements according to LOU or LUF or LUFS. At least 3 years of experience working with MagiCad and IDA ICE, EED.
