About the role

As a Junior Project Manager at AFRY, you will work closely with experienced project managers and contribute to projects in the energy sector, from early studies to project completion. Your role will be central in supporting project managers with tasks related to planning, monitoring, reporting, and document management. It is a unique and educational opportunity to develop in project management.

In the beginning, you will receive a solid introduction and guidance to gradually take on more responsibility and eventually assume the role of project manager. In this role, you will not only have the opportunity to develop your technical and organizational skills but also build a network of experienced colleagues who support and guide you on your journey to becoming a fully-fledged project manager.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is driven and goal-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and work independently to drive projects forward. You enjoy taking responsibility and are used to tackling tasks to ensure that the project progresses according to plan. At the same time, you are relationship-building and business-minded – you find it easy to build and maintain good relationships both internally and externally, and see the value in working closely with clients and colleagues to create successful results. You also have an analytical and structured ability, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that processes are followed carefully and efficiently.

We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability, and to fit into the role, you need to have:

• Master's degree in industrial economics, energy technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Interest in project management and the environment

It is advantageous for the role if you have:

• Driving license B
• Completed courses in project management
