SiS Youth Home Ljungaskog receives non-compulsory school-age girls with psychosocial issues, substance abuse, and self-harm problems. The institution is tasked with providing care for girls with special care needs.

Job Description

As a treatment secretary at Ljungaskog, you are responsible for ensuring that the young people receive the right interventions in accordance with the social services' mandate, establishing treatment plans, and following up on treatment interventions. The work is carried out in collaboration with the social services of the placing municipalities and the institution's various expert functions such as psychologists, teachers, special educators, nurses, and treatment pedagogues. You will guide treatment pedagogues in their daily work and ensure that documentation is done according to guidelines. The work is varied, which requires flexibility and responsibility. This means that you are a structure bearer, meticulous, and organized. You understand the value and context of collaboration; it is natural for you to guide and support your colleagues. You are the initiator who anchors and implements decisions. We are currently looking for a treatment secretary for the Solbacken department.

The Solbacken department's mission is to conduct reception and needs assessment (MBB), which means shorter placement times for the young people and a greater throughput of cases. As a treatment secretary in an MBB department, you are the spider in the web of the cross-professional teams assembled around each young person, and your opportunities for collegial knowledge exchange are significant.

You will be part of Ljungaskog's emergency response group, which means that during emergency duty, you have a 1-hour response time.

Qualifications:

Relevant academic education as a social worker or other behavioral science education deemed equivalent by the employer, which must include at least 210 credits, is required. Furthermore, documented experience of independent planning work to carry out planned interventions together with other professional groups is required. A B driver's license is a requirement. Experience working with youth and/or institutional care is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have completed training in MI, CBT, YLS/CMI, or other risk and needs assessment instruments.

• You are unpretentious and lower demands as much as possible in situations where there is a risk of stress, anxiety, and other negative feelings in the young person.
• You have a good ability to maintain humility in the face of the target group's issues in more difficult situations, i.e., offering a dignified response based on a humanistic view of people.
• You also have a good ability to act with clear boundaries when necessary in more difficult situations.
