The Department of Geriatrics, Rehabilitation Medicine, and Pain Center is characterized by well-functioning interprofessional collaboration, something we are very proud of. We are experts in rehabilitation and always strive to improve. As a part of this, there is a strong focus on research and progress, both within and outside the hospital. Within the section for health professions, which is part of our department, we are looking for new speech therapist colleagues!

Your mission

As a speech therapist at the Svartbäcken Speech Therapy Clinic, Academic Hospital, you work on current positions in communication difficulties related to language disorders in children aged 0-6 years or language disorders in children aged 0-6 years/voice problems.

One position involves assessment and interventions regarding language disorders in 0-6-year-olds. The other position involves assessment and interventions regarding language disorders in 0-6-year-olds as well as assessment and interventions regarding voice problems. This is divided into 50% for each focus area. Please indicate if any of the focus areas are more interesting to you.

There is also an active effort to highlight the role of the speech therapist, for example through training initiatives that the speech therapists plan and carry out. The work involves close contact with patients, staff, and relatives, which places great demands on cooperation, approach, and flexibility.

Your qualifications

You are a licensed speech therapist, preferably with experience and interest in working with language disorders in children and/or in the field of voice. It is a merit if you have experience in supervising students. Even if you are new in your role as a speech therapist, you are welcome to apply, as we tailor the introduction to your needs. We also appreciate your interest in developing the role of the speech therapist and trying out new working methods.

Your skills

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, good cooperation and organizational skills, and interest in development work. You enjoy working independently. As a person, you are confident, have good cooperation skills, and contribute positively to our common work environment.

We offer a temporary position until 2026-01-31 of 100% as a speech therapist with a clinical placement at the Svartbäcken Speech Therapy Clinic, Academic Hospital, starting on a date to be agreed upon. As a speech therapist with us, you are part of professional networks at the hospital and have opportunities for further development both internally and externally. A probationary period may be applied.
