Right decisions at the right time

As an insurance investigator, you are responsible for handling applications and making decisions in accordance with legislation. You work based on clearly defined goals where you conduct brief investigations, calculations, and payments. When necessary, you contact applicants, employers, or healthcare providers to gather information. You document continuously in the cases.

You will handle many applications every day and follow a clear process supported by guidelines. You are self-reliant and actively seek information to progress the cases. Making legally secure decisions is important – this means that we investigate and decide in accordance with legislation and treat everyone equally. You handle confidential information and need to have good judgment and be aware of security. You also need to be able to communicate and interact well with people.

You become part of a unit that works together in a fast-paced environment towards common goals. You regularly discuss the unit's progress and adapt based on the organization's goals and missions. Together, you create efficient work methods, and you plan your workday independently to manage the tasks that occur during a workday. As a new employee, you will receive an introductory training and support from your immediate manager, mentor, and specialists.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or equivalent qualifications and experiences
  • has excellent teamwork skills and experience working in teams to achieve common goals
  • communicates clearly and structured, both in writing and verbally

  • takes initiative and responsibility for high-quality results
  • has a systematic work approach with a good ability to prioritize work efficiently
  • can understand and analyze complex issues

It is advantageous if you have experience in investigative work and decision-making that has affected individuals, preferably at an authority, as well as experience working towards goals and results, working closely with customers to deliver good and efficient service, and good computer skills and experience working with multiple digital tools simultaneously.

Additional Information

Multiple positions, permanent, full-time, with entry by agreement. Probationary employment may be applicable. The Swedish Social Insurance Agency may conduct certain financial checks before employment. In this recruitment, work psychological tests will be used as part of the selection process.
