Who am I?

I am a social and active 25-year-old girl who, due to my disability, Rett syndrome, requires a lot of support and assistance. I am wheelchair-bound and need help with all practical aspects of my life. I have no verbal speech and therefore need help with interpretation and communication. Sometimes I use the communication tool PODD, which is a type of eye-controlled computer. I am an active girl with many interests and enjoy when things happen! I engage in horseback riding, listening to music, watching movies, or having a coffee in town! I live with my parents in Linnéstaden in central Gothenburg.

Job Description

Working hours and scope: The position is for 14.38 hours per week as per the schedule below:

Week 1: Wed 4:00 PM-8:30 PM, Thurs 1:00 PM-8:30 PM, Fri 1:00 PM-9:00 PM

Week 2: Thurs 1:00 PM-8:30 PM, Sat 12:00 PM-8:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM-6:00 PM

Week 3: Thurs 1:00 PM-8:30 PM

Week 4: Wed 1:00 PM-7:30 PM, Fri 1:00 PM-9:00 PM

Start date: Feb 1.

Who are you?

The most important aspect of this job is that you are an active and imaginative person! Experience in communicating through PODD is advantageous but not required. You should be interested in learning. As there are shifts at the riding school, you cannot be allergic to or afraid of horses.
