The role as a psychologist

As a psychologist with us, you work with individual treatment of patients with mental illness as well as group treatments together with a colleague or trained CBT therapist. You will also work on investigations according to referral or at the request of the team and related professions. Supervision of PTP psychologists may also become relevant in the future.

The position is permanent full-time with entry by agreement.

Your future workplace

At the psychiatric clinic Höglandet, we are about 190 employees. For us, it is important to always focus on the patient. We create trust and good conditions for effective qualitative specialist psychiatric care through a holistic view and continuity in the care chain. We develop and focus on a cognitive and behavioral therapeutic approach. We also have a systemic approach as the basis for the treatment work to maintain a psychodynamic approach. Participation and information to patients, relatives, and staff are a prerequisite for success, as is collaboration with neighboring healthcare providers.

In our work, we meet adults in the municipalities of Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. The clinic's resources are distributed to take into account both the clinic perspective and county-wide psychiatric care processes. We participate in the development and implementation of common care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience in specialist psychiatry, who wants to develop together with us at our well-functioning reception in Vetlanda.

We believe that you are a service-oriented and confident person who takes initiative and has the courage to act in the best interest of the patient. You are structured and have good problem-solving analytical skills. Furthermore, you are clear in your communication with patients and colleagues. Since your workdays will vary, it is important that you are adaptable to changing circumstances. Collaboration will be an important part of your work with us, so it is crucial that you are a good collaborator. Finally, we believe that you are a person who wants to develop in your profession and contribute to the continued success and development of our clinic.
