The role of Support Assistant/Aid with us

With us, you provide support to our residents in all aspects of their daily needs, and we have customary practical tasks both inside the residents' homes and in the common areas.

We work based on low-stress interaction, AAC or clarifying pedagogy for those who need it, as well as IBIC (Individual's Needs in Center). Nursing care and hygiene assistance occur at the residence and documentation is included in the duties. Motivational work to independently manage their daily lives is an important part of the work at Tölö-ängar.

As an employee, you have contact responsibility where the residents' interests should come first. Contacts will be made with the HSL team, legal guardians, daily activities, relatives, or other important actors for the residents. Support for activities and visits to various actors outside the residence occurs. The work method is systematic, which means that you should be structured and have the ability to organize and plan your work based on the individual and the needs of the business.

There are method developers to guide the staff in questions regarding the resident and the business and to ensure that the work we do at Tölö ängar is of high quality. Tölö ängar consists of eight resident apartments.

Your profile

You have the ability to organize and plan your work and create a pleasant environment around you. You have a positive outlook and find it easy to work in a team, as cooperation is a key factor. It is a prerequisite that you can quickly adapt to changing circumstances and maintain your composure in stressful situations. You show good judgment and understand that you influence the situation when you speak or act. You are comfortable with resource shifts both in your own and other units. You express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing, as required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience working with a similar target group
• has a good habit of documentation according to applicable legislation

It is advantageous if you:

• have education at least at the upper secondary level with a focus on nursing, pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
• have experience in low-stress interaction, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC
• have a B driver's license
