The Social Services Department works to provide support and assistance to children, adolescents, families, and individuals with disabilities or dependency problems. We also engage in outreach and preventive efforts. Fundamental to us is that we treat each other with respect – both our users and among ourselves as employees.

We are currently in need of a new employee for our case management unit as one of our employees is going on parental leave.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a social worker, you need to manage several individual cases based on the individual's application. Do you want a job that is varied and educational where no two days are alike? We are looking for a dedicated social worker with the right heart who wants to work to provide support and services to individuals with disabilities.

Your tasks will include assessing needs and making decisions about interventions according to LSS and SoL. The position also includes follow-up, information, and outreach activities. You will primarily work with child cases.

As a social worker with us, you will have the opportunity to combine legal issues with social work. You will be part of a great team with collegial support and close leadership. We share responsibility for all our cases, and we are a team that constantly helps each other when needed.

Our investigation method is IBIC, which we see as an important support in our work.

The workplace offers continuous professional development in the area of disabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in social work or another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. We are looking for someone who is positive, creative, and has the ability to quickly adapt when needed.
