Job Responsibilities

As a curator at the eating disorder clinic, your main responsibilities will include qualified investigation, assessment, and treatment work.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team with various professional categories such as nurses, treatment assistants, secretaries, senior physicians, dietitians, psychologists, and occupational therapists. The majority of the work will consist of treatment work with families and individuals. The job also involves consultation/advice and assessment.

Working hours are weekdays Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30 with flexible agreements.

About the Workplace

The eating disorder care in Halland is the smallest operational area in Region Halland and is organizationally part of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We are a county-wide and age-inclusive service with outpatient clinics in Halmstad and Varberg, and in Varberg, we also have day care services for adults.

The mission of the eating disorder clinics is assessment/investigation, treatment, and consultation. The target group is individuals with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and other severe eating disorders that are deemed to require our specialized care. We work multidisciplinary based on psychiatric diagnostics and allow psychosocial, psychological, and pharmacological treatment interventions to complement each other.

As we are an age-inclusive service, we have close cooperation with both child and adult psychiatry. Through collegial collaboration, we help each other create good care for our patients. You will be offered professional supervision to develop in your professional role.

As part of our wonderful team at the clinic in Varberg, you will be part of a competent and developing team of 15 people. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker. Training in family therapy level 1 is an asset, as well as training in CBT-e and CBT level 1. If you have experience in family treatment and working with patients with eating disorders, this is also an asset.

As a person, you are self-sufficient in your role, flexible, and able to collaborate easily with your colleagues, and you have the ability to create security and good relationships. You are aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to ensuring that everyone is treated equally through your approach.

With us, you need to have a holistic perspective and be able to make correct assessments in your work. You also have a strong long-term inner motivation. To ensure good and safe communication with colleagues, patients, and other contacts, we require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
