Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 46-year-old woman living in Oskarshamn
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• is physically fit
• enjoys walking and being outdoors
• can swim with the client - in swimming pools and in the sea
• has a B driver's license

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience with autism

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "as long as the assignment lasts" at 80% with immediate start. The position involves a fixed schedule with day shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM with 6 hours of on-call time at night. Weekend work may also be required.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
