About the Role

As a personal assistant, you will support and assist individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. The job involves promoting their independence and enabling them to lead a more fulfilling and self-determined life.

About Our Client

The child is an active and cheerful boy who needs support in everyday life and supervision around the clock. He lives with his family consisting of five family members and a cat.

He is very active but does not have the ability to understand dangers. Help is needed with everything from communication, dressing, meals, and personal hygiene, etc. He has motor difficulties but can walk a little independently. He loves when it tickles in his stomach, music, and bathing. He has a great need for closeness and often gives hugs.

Activities are needed to provide stimulation and well-being.

About You

You enjoy participating in activities and are proactive. You need to be alert at all times to avoid potential mishaps. The priority is to ensure that the child has a good and meaningful everyday life, with plenty of stimulation and care. You need to love children as there are more children in the family.

The parents want to be able to be parents to their son and need relief from their son's extra needs. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability as you will become part of the family. Working with this child gives you a meaningful job where you make a difference for an entire family.

Job Responsibilities

You will guide the day by coming up with activities for the child.

Support the client in their daily routines and personal care.

Facilitate communication and interaction with others.

Walk and participate in other leisure activities with the client.

Create a safe and positive environment for the client.

Qualifications and Preferences

We are looking for someone who is patient, loves children, and is responsible.

Previous experience in similar work is an advantage but not a requirement.

Good communication skills and a flexible attitude are essential.

Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is necessary.

No pet allergies.

About the Positions

Work shifts vary and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with a workload of approximately 22.5-60%.

Working hours are weekdays from 5 PM to 10 PM and from 10 PM to 7 AM awake night. Weekend from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Salary is set based on experience and qualifications in agreement at hiring.
