JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for summer substitutes in personal assistance.

Working as a personal assistant means supporting and motivating the person in their home. The work largely involves helping individuals to live as independently as possible. This may include cooking, assisting with personal hygiene, shopping together with the person, etc.

You will mostly work alone, but double staffing may occur. The work is based on LSS, which means meeting the user's basic needs through support and assistance to ensure good living conditions. The person's needs and how the services are performed are described in an implementation plan.

Your tasks will include documentation in our documentation system LifeCare, as well as performing health and medical tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse. The user requires staffing every day, and working hours are distributed day/evening/night/on-call/weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in the care and nursing program, or has other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Has a B driver's license
• Has experience in similar work

We value that you as a person are responsible and that you have a low-arousal approach where you act calmly and steadily regardless of the situation. Other valuable qualities in the profession are creativity, responsiveness, and a positive attitude. It is also important that you have good collaboration skills, are calm, and have the ability to adapt your working methods based on the user's needs. It is also crucial that you feel comfortable working independently, as a large part of the work is done on your own.

The job requires verbal and written communication and also documentation, so you must be computer literate and proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. If you speak another language, it is a plus.
