Torsås Municipality is looking for an Administrative Employee
Torsås Municipality - a municipality with proximity and quality of life in southern Kalmar County. The municipality, with about 7,000 inhabitants, can be described as a miniature Sweden. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are developing our working methods and are looking for an administrative employee who can assist social workers within child and family services. The role primarily involves administrative tasks, but other tasks may also become relevant. This is a new role, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in its development.
We work based on the legislation and knowledge support available and strive for solutions for each individual in dialogue with the client. We work to strengthen children's rights in society and their safe and good conditions for growth.
Here you will have the opportunity to provide administrative support to the authority administrators, such as:
- Taking meeting notes when the administrators have meetings and entering them into Lifecare (our documentation system)
- Booking calls, interpreters, cars, conference rooms, SIP, etc.
- Managing physical records according to the archive plan
- Sending invitations and communicating decisions administratively
- Gathering and communicating documents to authorities, schools, healthcare, and other actors we meet
- Being part of our process work across the entire operational area
Depending on your level of knowledge and experience, participation in follow-ups, supervised visits, and placements may also be included.
An important part of the work is collaboration with the network surrounding the child/youth. We work in a process-oriented manner, where we also collaborate and consider all professional perspectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements: Post-secondary education with a focus on administration, social work, social pedagogy, economics, pedagogy, or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.
It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in some of the following areas:
- Administrative tasks in a systems environment
- Social work/social services
- Pedagogy
- Economics
- Process-oriented working methods
- Working in Microsoft Office and Life Care
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
We are looking for someone who:

- Is organized, structured, and service-oriented
- Has a good ability to express themselves in speech and writing
- Has a good ability to plan and prioritize
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
Employment can only occur after presenting a certificate from the criminal record and suspicion register.
