Do you want to make a difference for people in a role where you can combine qualified investigative work with service and support? Then we might have the right challenge for you! We are currently looking for a number of insurance investigators in disability benefits, based in Lund. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering the right decisions on time.

Investigations, analyses, and customer contact

As an insurance investigator, you are a state employee tasked with ensuring that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. In your work, you assess whether an individual is entitled to disability benefits by conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You then present proposals for decisions that are made by specially appointed decision-makers. You are responsible for contacts and collaboration with others that the individual may need support from, such as healthcare and the Employment Service. Your contact with individuals is primarily via phone. If applicable, you also investigate the individual's ability to participate in rehabilitative and coordinated efforts. As an insurance investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness to work with us.

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• has a systematic and meticulous work approach
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• is proficient in using a computer as a work tool.

It is an advantage if you

• have worked with investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals
• have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in various life situations.

Other information

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
