The Department for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity administers a large number of social insurance benefits – including assistance compensation, sickness and activity compensation, and compensation for work-related injuries. The Legal Support operational area is responsible for the department's reassessment activities, litigation in court, and legal support close to case management. Together, the operational area should serve as a force and engine in the legal quality work of the department. The litigation unit is now to be strengthened with additional colleagues.

Litigation and Legal Quality Work

As a litigator, you represent Försäkringskassan in social insurance cases in administrative courts and administrative courts of appeal. In collaboration with the department's legal experts, you appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court. The work involves both written case management and oral hearings. The role also includes quality development work, where you actively work to improve our working methods and participate in legal quality follow-ups.

In the role of litigator, you handle confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a law degree
• is a qualified notary or has equivalent competence, such as other court experience or experience in reassessment and/or appeal processes within an authority
• has good collaboration skills and can act on their own initiative
• is proactive and takes responsibility for results with high quality
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• communicates clearly, distinctly, and structured.

It is advantageous if you

• have current experience with social insurance cases in administrative courts
• have good knowledge of administrative procedural law and social insurance law, preferably within the relevant department's insurance area
• have knowledge of digitalization and data protection law
• have knowledge of EU law.

2 positions, permanent full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
