The Department of Finance and Governance is part of the municipal executive office and has a coordinating role by providing support and service to the entire municipality. The department's responsibilities cover the entire economic spectrum, such as financial planning, accounting, budgeting and follow-up, liquidity and financing issues, investments, and financial administration. The department is also responsible for the municipality's procurement and purchasing, local strategic issues, and the task of coordinating matters related to operational planning, follow-up, statistics, quality, and analysis. We also drive the municipality's overarching work for sustainable community development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will work with the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's financial systems with a focus on e-commerce systems. We are seeking an experienced and committed system manager to strengthen our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's e-commerce system and support the business in purchasing processes.

Your main tasks will include:

• Project manage the implementation of a new e-commerce system
• Drive digitization and improvements of processes and working methods
• Management and development of systems for which the accounting unit is the system owner
• Act as support for system technical issues regarding improvements, operation, and procurement of new or further development.
• Prepare decision-making materials for further development of systems
• Participate in and drive improvement projects to optimize the use of the systems for which the accounting unit is the system owner.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, we want you to:

• Have at least a university degree in finance or other education/work experience deemed equivalent.
• Have several years of professional experience in system development or financial systems.
• Have good analytical skills and experience working with troubleshooting, accounting, and data analysis.
• Be independent, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to work both individually and in teams.
