Test Leaders at FMV

We are now looking for several Test Leaders to strengthen our team responsible for verification and validation, where one of the positions involves leading the quality assurance team within the unit. Responsibilities

As a test leader, you will be an important part of our development and management work, especially now that we are in an exciting phase of building up. You will work closely with project managers, management leaders, and the business to ensure quality throughout the process – from requirements definition to verification and validation. The role primarily involves working as a test leader, but we also welcome your operational contributions as a tester when needed.

Your responsibilities include planning, leading, and following up on both functional and non-functional testing. You are responsible for developing test strategies, test plans, and test documentation, as well as leading the quality assurance team and coordinating efforts within the team. You will also participate in defining approaches for verification and validation, ensuring that the business's needs are met, and actively working with risk management related to testing. The role also includes being a contact person for external suppliers, contributing to procurement of products and services, and participating in requirements definition work from the business. The position is based in Stockholm, and travel may occur in the role.

We are looking for someone who

Has a completed university degree in IT or equivalent competence acquired in another way. Certification in ISTQB or REQB is a merit. You have several years of experience working as a test leader and tester, particularly in system testing and acceptance testing.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have experience in requirements management, where you have worked to define needs and expectations of stakeholders and ensured that these are met. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience working in DevOps environments and with test automation, for example with tools like Robocorp, UiPath, or similar. It is also a merit if you have worked with verification and validation in non-functional testing, such as performance testing, penetration testing, or identifying weaknesses in IT systems.

To succeed in the role, you are proactive and have a strong drive to achieve results. You have a clear focus on the task and drive your work forward in an independent and structured way. You collaborate well with others and have good leadership qualities – you motivate, create engagement, and provide the team with the conditions necessary to achieve common goals together.
