Do you want to work with software that controls high-tech industrial robots? Here, you will be part of a team of about 30 engineers with expertise in areas such as image processing, software architecture, and embedded systems. Together, you will ensure that the software in our client's advanced machines operates optimally!

In the role of software developer, you will work with the software of a 6-axis industrial robot that operates in tight spaces and with very high precision. You will work in the robot arm's own development environment, primarily similar to C programming, but also with Java in a Linux environment to integrate the software with the machine's other applications.

You will also work in Java to automate testing and simulation. The work includes both new development and ongoing improvements, as well as some support related to the software in machines that are already installed in the field.

• Has a relevant engineering degree.
• Has encountered robot programming during studies or through work experience.
• Is passionate about technology and working closely with hardware – and can provide examples of this.

Meritorious:

• 2-4 years of work experience in robot programming
• Work experience with embedded systems
• Previous work with testing, development, and/or production

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after about 12 months, you will be directly employed by the client.
