IT Security Specialist

Are you an IT security specialist with extensive experience in security approval of IT systems and skills related to IT system documentation? Responsibilities

FMV (The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) is embarking on an exciting and challenging transformation journey where you, as an IT security specialist, will be an important part of FMV's information and IT security work.

As an IT security specialist, you will prepare documentation and conduct reviews for security approvals of information systems (accreditation decisions). Lead, execute, and follow up on the work with security approvals of IT systems and applications.

Furthermore, you will also work with security protection planning within projects and management, i.e., the work with analyses, plans, and measures taken to investigate what security protection is needed.

You will work with advisory support for projects, management, and decision-makers to interpret security-related incidents, risk assessments, and direct the overall security work.

The position is based in Stockholm. Travel within Sweden may occur.

We are looking for someone who

We see that you have an academic degree in IT, systems science, or another relevant education in the field, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. If you have training focused on IT security or equivalent competence acquired in another way, we view it positively.

You have several years of work experience in the field of IT security with a good understanding of complex information systems and IT environments. We see that you have experience and knowledge in security approvals and documentation management of IT systems. You are accustomed to working with classified information regarding IT systems. If you have experience in the development and management of IT systems, we believe that this will be beneficial in this role.

To succeed in the role, you are pedagogical with a good ability regarding oral and written communication. The work requires you to independently plan, prioritize, and structure your work and approach, as well as take initiative and start activities to achieve results. You act calmly and confidently with high personal maturity and enjoy working in a team.

We place great importance on personal qualities. The employment requires Swedish citizenship.
