About the Role

Our client based in Ängelholm is looking for an experienced backend developer who wants to take a key role in the development of their SaaS platform. Here, you will work closely with both technology and business in an environment that encourages participation, developer-friendly processes, and technical accountability.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on PHP and MySQL
• Previous experience in building scalable, complex systems – preferably within SaaS
• Good understanding of software design, architecture, APIs, and integrations
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience working in international teams is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions in the company's SaaS platform
• Work independently with responsibility for the entire development cycle in your projects
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to meet user needs
• Engage with end-users to understand and improve the user experience
• Contribute to technical improvements, code reviews, and quality assurance
• Participate in architecture and product discussions and drive development forward
