About the position
As a Machine Designer at Ursviken Technology, you will primarily design and customize hydraulic or electric press brakes, shears, and material handling equipment. The work is project-based, and you will be part of a team with designers in mechanics and electrical engineering. Here, you will work on the development of new products as well as adapt modifications of already delivered machines.
Ursviken is an exciting and developing company that designs and manufactures its own products. The design department consists of a team of designers who all play an important and central role in the organization. We are a medium-sized company with short decision-making paths that values our employees and encourages development. Since we operate internationally, there may be opportunities for some travel in the position.
About you
You are an educated engineer in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical education. You have good knowledge of working with 3D modeling, and it is advantageous if you have worked in Creo, SolidWorks, or similar systems. Knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics is also considered a plus. You express yourself well in English and preferably also in Swedish.
You are meticulous, structured, and have a passionate interest in technology and driving development forward. You enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with others. Your flexibility and ability to handle changes in a fast-paced environment allow you to quickly adapt to new challenges.
