At ABB Service, we strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations across Sweden – from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. We are currently looking for service technicians in electrical power for Skellefteå, Luleå, and Gällivare. Our mission is to provide services that enhance operational reliability, availability, and profitability while reducing environmental impact in our customers' production facilities. We cover the entire lifecycle of the facility and help our customers work on continuous improvements.

This position reports to the Field Service Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

• You will engage in corrective and preventive maintenance on transformers, MSP-LSP circuit breakers, relay protection, arc protection in various types of electrical power facilities
• You will participate in upgrade projects and commissioning of MSP-LSP substations
• You should be able to act as sales support and resource in quotation work, including for upgrades and modifications of various types of electrical power equipment
• You share ABB's fundamental values regarding safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions while also feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business

Qualifications for the role

• You have previous experience as a service engineer or as an industrial electrician
• You can read both mechanical and electrical drawings and are also a proficient user of measuring equipment in substation environments
• Experience with ABB's electrical power products, facility design, commissioning, testing, relay protection, 61850 protocol, programming, or Electrical Installation Authorization A, AL is advantageous
• You have a B driver's license, can use a computer in your work, and know how to handle and interpret measurement data
• You are proficient in both English and Swedish, spoken and written
• As a person, you are social, meticulous, and always prioritize work safety. You have a good sense of humor and an open and empathetic attitude towards customers and colleagues
• Since travel is included in the position, it is important that you enjoy a mobile lifestyle
