Are you ready for your next step in your career? Support for Skåne's digital healthcare system (SDV) at Region Skåne is growing rapidly, and we are now reorganizing to meet future challenges. We have transformed the Support SDV unit into an area and are now looking for a confident and committed unit manager who wants to help further develop the ability to support SDV within the region.

The unit is responsible for second-line functional and technical support for Skåne's digital healthcare system and specializes in support functions for the SDV platform. We are responsible for proactively contributing specialist expertise to ensure service and support. Additionally, we work within the area to identify and drive improvements in applications proactively, configure applications, troubleshoot and validate configurations, test new functionalities, and manage support cases. Support SDV works to provide first-class service and support to our operations and users in Region Skåne.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a unit manager at Support SDV, you will establish and lead a team of 10 to 15 employees. You will be responsible for the unit's operations, personnel, and finances. You will have a strong focus on leading and developing your operations and your employees. The role includes, among other things, clarifying and communicating visions, goals, and strategies together with the area, as well as following up on daily work. As a unit manager, you show personal care by coaching and supporting your employees. You identify employees' strengths and development needs and utilize their skills and engagement.

In your role as unit manager, you will also be responsible for:

  • Further development of second-line support for SDV together with managerial colleagues in the area.
  • Ensuring second-line support responsibilities in processes.
  • Follow-up of assignments.
  • Ensuring the right resources and capabilities required to perform the assignment.
  • Introduction and further development of employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a relevant university or college education, or other training and/or work experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. We also see that you have several years of experience as a leader within support and support flows with a background in IT. Furthermore, you are well acquainted with ITIL process flows and methodologies related to service and support. Previous managerial experience from a similar role is considered an advantage.

As a leader, you have good analytical skills, high integrity, and demonstrate critical thinking. You are coaching and communicate in a way that inspires the team, and you do your utmost to build a united team. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in issues related to Service and Support and an ability to see the big picture. Your leadership qualities align with Region Skåne's values of welcoming, driving, caring, and respect. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The Digitalization IT and MT administration provides support and service to the Skåne healthcare system. The administration's mission is to implement a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while managing and effectively consolidating today's existing IT environment. The assignment includes the management and support of existing and upcoming systems. Medical technology (MT) also works with service, maintenance, purchasing, and in-house production of medical technology equipment.

The administration is also responsible for the fundamental healthcare information systems and drives the development of future healthcare information. We are about 350 employees in the administration and are present at all hospital areas in Skåne, with headquarters in Lund.
