In the Southern region, at the department for disability and permanently reduced work capacity, we handle Sickness and Activity Compensation and Work Injury Benefits. We also have insurance medical advisors organized with us. The area consists of 11 units distributed across 17 locations.

Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a unit manager, you are the manager who is closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.

Your unit consists of 20 employees who work with Work Injuries, annuities, and are located in Malmö. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of context, direction, and the goal images the department has set and develop the plans your operations need. As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management group, which consists of 15 people, where you contribute with your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.
