We are urgently looking for an interim manager for the Swedish Customs in Malmö.

About the assignment

The assignment is full-time and lasts for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The work is performed on-site at the Swedish Customs premises in Malmö. Start is immediate or as soon as possible. The position is security classified.

Your responsibilities

As a management consultant for the Southern service area, you will help drive and lead the operations towards the unit's set goals.

The unit is undergoing a significant transformation journey that includes moving from a reactive to a proactive working method, digitization, and changing roles to increase expertise in specific areas. The client is implementing and embracing self-leadership at all levels.

You will have personnel responsibility for approximately 8 employees, the majority of whom are based in Malmö.

The position is performed on-site, and you as a consultant will be located in the Swedish Customs premises in Malmö.

The manager for the Southern service area reports to the unit manager.

For managers at the Swedish Customs, all managers must represent the employer and implement decisions made.

Your qualifications

• experience in a managerial position within a larger organization
• experience in change management with trust-based leadership and development of employees' self-leadership and the ability to lead/work with teams
• experience in following up on operations, analyzing results, and suggesting improvements
• at least 5 years of managerial experience
• very good ability to communicate and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• experience in remote leadership

Meritorious

All relevant experience from similar assignments and organizations is of course highly meritorious.
