We are seeking a Business Area Manager for AFRY's Product Development Mechanics unit in Malmö, with a strong talent for sales and a genuine commitment to developing business and building long-term customer relationships. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to combine sales and leadership within a technical industry, where you drive business development and ensure profitable growth. As a Business Area Manager, your main task will be to drive sales and create business opportunities. You will identify new customers, further develop existing relationships, and ensure that our services in product development and mechanical design match market needs. The role involves developing and implementing business strategies, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving the entire sales process from prospecting and customer meetings to closing. You will lead and develop the unit with a focus on sales, employees, and profitability, while collaborating with other business areas and being part of the management team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in selling qualified consulting services and a strong ability to build relationships and create business. You are a business-driven leader motivated by exceeding sales targets and developing teams. We prefer that you have experience in B2B sales, preferably within technical consulting services, as well as a relevant technical education from a college or university. A broad network within product development, mechanical design, or related fields is an advantage. To succeed in this role, you need to be an inspiring and goal-oriented leader who creates engagement and drives your team to perform. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English and hold a B driver's license, as travel within the region is required.
