The Labor Market Administration in Trelleborg is responsible for labor market issues, financial assistance, the establishment of newcomers, municipal adult education, vocational training, and skills supply issues. Our goal is to raise the educational level in the municipality, ensure that job seekers find employment, and maintain a good local business climate. Job Responsibilities

In your role as unit manager for recruitment and internship, it is you and your team who, through workplace-based initiatives, ensure that job seekers meet employers and create experiences and networks that enable them to enter the labor market.

This operation also includes the responsibility for summer jobs for youth and shared responsibility for an ESF project, Yrkeskollen.

As a unit manager, you have an important mission to drive and develop the operation together with your employees. The labor market department is a dynamic and multifaceted operation that collaborates with employers, authorities, and administrations both locally and regionally, and as a unit manager, you are expected to initiate and actively contribute to this collaboration. Together, we work to ensure that more job seekers achieve self-sufficiency.

You enable good performance, high job satisfaction, a good working environment, and you promote a culture characterized by openness, respect, and responsibility in accordance with the administration's values and rules. You report directly to the head of the labor market department and are part of both the department's and the administration's management team.

The position carries a significant development responsibility, and we work hypothesis-driven to achieve our goals. You have a management responsibility for the operation that includes budget responsibility and personnel responsibility, but also responsibility for follow-up and development. Your leadership is characterized by your belief that high expectations lead to good performance. You live the municipality's values and have a clear leadership style that inspires engagement and creativity among your employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for you

• With a behavioral science education and experience in the labor market area related to internships and recruitment.
• You have worked as a manager and have documented experience in leading change with good results, where you utilize employees' competencies.
• You have developed and led similar operations.
• We see that you have high digital competence and a coaching approach with trust-based leadership.
• You are a driving person who makes things happen and preferably have knowledge in project management.
• As a person, you have a strong commitment to labor market issues.
• You are open, development-oriented, and secure in your role. Furthermore, you are goal- and results-oriented, communicative, analytical, and structured.
• You have a good ability to monitor the external environment and build networks to drive change that leads to concrete results.

We place great importance on your ability to collaborate and create good relationships, as the labor market department is a multifaceted operation with many partners. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
