Description

A summer job is an opportunity to learn new things, improve your CV, earn your own money, gain inspiration for your career, and perhaps meet new friends.

We who work in Ljusdal Municipality work for our residents and to make the municipality a good place to live and reside. As a summer worker, you will be part of that effort.

To apply for a summer job, you must be in the first or second year of high school, be registered in Ljusdal Municipality, and have a residence permit. Students who did not have a municipal summer job last year have priority for this year's positions. In your application, you rank your preferences for where you would like to work. However, if you are offered a summer job, you are not guaranteed a position at your top three choices and may be offered a different position.

To apply for a summer job in childcare at a preschool or summer recreation, you must be enrolled in the Child and Recreation program. If you are in the Health and Care program, you have priority for positions in special housing, daily activities, and home care within health and care.

New workplaces for this year

Reading owns:

If you are primarily studying the Child and Recreation program, you can choose to work at summer recreation at one of the schools in Järvsö, Färila, or Ljusdal during period 1. Through reading aloud and movement joy, you will show how important and fun it is to keep in shape this summer, including reading skills.

Environmental Unit, Nature Conservation:

If you are interested in forests and the environment, then Nature Conservation is for you and can be chosen during both periods. You will carry out nature conservation measures together with supervisors at various locations in the municipality.
