Temporary Therapist for Open Care Team

The Open Care Unit is part of the Temporary Support area and consists of the Open Care Team, Addiction Center, and Housing First.

We are now looking for a temporary therapist for our Open Care Team!

As our colleague will be on leave, we need a substitute for our team. The Open Care Team is a working group with flexible and solution-oriented employees who can see and utilize each other's competencies to support and motivate our clients towards a functioning and independent life.

Job Responsibilities

We work with adults and young adults, women and men, with addiction problems and who may also have mental health issues, norm-breaking behaviors, and socially destructive behaviors and are in need of psychosocial support interventions. The work is carried out on behalf of social workers with authority.

We work disruptively, outreach, and motivationally. We conduct home visits and have individual therapeutic conversations. We work based on the methods A-CRA, CRA, Relapse Prevention, and MI (Motivational Interviewing). We also have a motivation group where clients receive support for change, which can lead to the client undergoing treatment for their addiction problems. Some of our clients live in our transitional apartments. We collaborate with other units in the municipality as well as the region.

If you have experience working with people with addiction problems and mental health issues as well as behavioral problems, you are the one we are looking for.

The work takes place during the day, Mon-Fri but also includes some evening work when the shared activity center is open for clients for various activities.

The work requires documentation.

Your Profile

You are a trained treatment educator or have a higher education that is deemed suitable for the assignment. We are looking for someone with knowledge and interest in working with individuals with addiction problems, mental health issues, norm-breaking behavior, and socially destructive behavior. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and are used to working with networks. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
