Support Assistant to Tallmossen Group Home

Your Mission

We assist and support the residents with care interventions based on their individual needs and wishes, according to approved assistance. The work is carried out based on established implementation plans and goals. The job includes providing support in all household tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, clothing care, laundry, cleaning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, social training, and leisure and cultural activities. Other important tasks include developing and maintaining individual abilities and communication, as well as supporting users' self-determination and personal integrity. We create and maintain conditions for quality of life, safety, and self-determination.

The working hours are distributed throughout the day and adjusted according to the needs of the operation.

About the Workplace

Tallmossen is a group home and is part of the Functional Support area in the Welfare sector. You will work closely with your colleagues, your unit manager, and other partners, and we collaborate with other operations within the area.

Tallmossen group home offers accommodation for five people covered by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). The overarching goal of the law is that individuals should be able to live like everyone else without being limited by their disabilities. Here, you will work with your colleagues to provide the residents of Tallmossen with the best possible living conditions.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained support assistant or has a recognized care and nursing program or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. We prefer candidates who have previously worked as support assistants or have experience in care-related and/or educational work. Experience with clear pedagogical methods is a plus.

As a person, you are good at conveying security, have a low-arousal approach, and can handle complex expressions. You are resilient, value collaboration, and demonstrate a professional demeanor towards everyone in your work. You work from a holistic perspective and have the ability to plan and structure your work. Furthermore, you need to be able to make independent decisions while respecting decisions made by others and can perform work on behalf of others.

All employees are responsible for contributing to increased quality and safety, seeking new knowledge, initiating development, and reporting deficiencies.

The work at Tallmossen group home is developing and versatile, where you as an employee become an important part of shaping the operation.

Since the work requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license is required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
