Your Mission

Welcome to the Authority for Children and Youth, we are expanding our investigation team and are looking for our new colleague!

As a social worker with us, your main tasks will involve case management according to SoL and LVU.

As a social worker in the investigation group, the primary focus is on assessing the needs of children and youth, conducting risk assessments, and making decisions regarding potential actions.

We work with the target group of children and youth aged 0-20 years, their families, and networks. Together, we strive to keep the best interests of the child in focus and work to create participation among the people we serve. We operate from a systemic and holistic perspective, which is why collaboration with other key actors such as schools, healthcare, and police is a natural and important part of our daily work.

Description of the Workplace

The Authority for Children and Youth is part of the social services within the Sector for Children and Learning. The unit is divided into four teams: Family Law, Reception Group, Investigation Group, and Follow-up of Care. The unit is led by two unit managers and two senior social workers. In addition, there are also two social administrators who assist with certain administrative tasks. Senior social workers primarily provide close support in the work, including being a good everyday support and having regular follow-ups of caseworkers' workloads and situations.

We care for each other and value each other's different perspectives and ideas. As a new colleague, you will have an assigned mentor and a plan for your introduction. We have regular case preparations in groups, regular external supervision, the possibility of vacation swapping, and flexible working hours. There is also the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week.

Your Competence

Degree in Social Work, 210 credits.

Experience in public authority exercise and case management in the relevant area.

Training and experience in working with BBIC.

Experience with Signs of Safety.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

You have a B driver's license as some travel is required in the job.
