The opportunity is a LSS operation that belongs to EDV, the Unit for Daily Activities, located in the Sätra district. The opportunity is a service for individuals with Autism/ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and intellectual disabilities. Currently, there are over 30 users here.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Within EDV, we actively work with user influence, and our work is based on a pedagogical approach and working method (PFA) that clarifies and adapts tasks based on each individual. We also work according to a low-arousal approach.

The target group is adults with Autism/ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and intellectual disabilities who have a decision for daily activities according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). You should be able to work independently based on goals, guidelines, activities, and individual implementation plans. You are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the operation. The job also includes driving the operation's minibus.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has autism training or a high school diploma from the care program or the child and youth program with a focus on social work, or other education that the employer deems suitable for the operation. The position also requires that you have good knowledge of and professional experience working with the target group in the near past. You have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also hold a B driver's license and have driving experience as well as good computer and documentation skills.

You are confident in uncertain situations, can take your own initiatives when required while having the ability to follow predetermined working methods, routines, and legal requirements. You instill trust, create confidence and reliability. You have the ability to spread calm and stability around you and the decisiveness to separate the issue from the person.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good collaboration with others, an unpretentious attitude, and the ability to find alternative solutions to arising problems.
