Therapist Wanted for Adult Outpatient Care in Sundbyberg

Do you want to make a real difference for people with addiction issues? We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced therapist for our adult outpatient care in Sundbyberg. Here, you will work in an evidence-based environment focusing on motivation, participation, and professional development.

About the Unit

Support housing and outpatient care are part of the authority department in the welfare and care sector and consist of three operations:

• Ekbacken Support Housing – sober support housing for adults
• Support Housing for Youths aged 16–21
• Adult Outpatient Care, where the current position is located

The unit has a total of 13 employees, two group leaders, and one unit manager. The outpatient care is located in its own premises on Lötsjövägen in Hallonbergen.

Your Role

As a therapist, you will work with individual treatment contacts and group therapy. The target group is adults with substance use disorders and/or gambling addiction. The work takes place both at the reception and, if necessary, through home visits or other flexible solutions.

You will:

• Conduct assessments and treatment based on evidence-based methods
• Work motivationally and follow the individual's change process
• Document and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to a good work environment and actively participate in method development

We Are Looking For You Who

• Is a trained therapist with several years of experience in treatment for substance abuse/addiction and gambling issues
• Has knowledge or training in methods such as MI, CRA, ACRA, CRAFT, 12-step, CBT, relapse prevention, HAP, ORS/SRS, or similar
• Preferably has experience working with young adults and knowledge of crime as a lifestyle
• Has a very good ability to build therapeutic alliances and work independently
• Is flexible, responsible, and has good collaboration skills
• Has high personal maturity and a respectful, inclusive approach
