We are looking for you, a support assistant, who with your commitment helps the unit achieve our goals.

As an employee at the Kungsholmen district administration, you will be offered, among other things, an annual wellness allowance. Your role

Your role includes providing daily support to those living in the unit so that they can lead a more independent life based on set goals and agreements. The operations are governed by the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Disabilities (LSS). The goal is for individuals to have the opportunity to live like others. In your role as a support assistant, you will also:

• Plan and develop work independently and together with others in the staff group.
• Perform service tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Handle certain medications based on delegation.
• Maintain contact with relatives and guardians as well as others in the tenant's network.
• Regular documentation in the organization's documentation system ParaSoL.
• Establish and follow up on implementation plans based on requests and the tenant's wishes.

Your qualifications and experience

Care education at the upper secondary level or alternatively the child and leisure program with a focus on pedagogy or social work.

Documented experience of working with people with disabilities.

Documented experience of working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities.

Since the work involves a lot of oral and written reporting as well as documentation, we require proficiency in Swedish and computer skills at a level required by the assignment.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of social documentation. We use Parasol as a documentation tool.
• Documented experience from working in group homes and service homes.

The social services department is responsible for caring for individuals with disabilities, individual and family care, financial assistance, labor market measures, as well as field and leisure activities. In 2025, the responsibility for playground activities will be transferred to the department. Employment in certain positions within the Social Services Department may require a criminal record check.
