At Vår Omtanke, we are currently looking for several personal assistants to work with our client in Enebyberg, Danderyd! In this role, you will make a difference in people's lives and work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

About the position

We are now seeking a mature female personal assistant for a very positive, kind, and loving 27-year-old young man who wants to live his life like everyone else his age, given the opportunities he has due to his disability and fragile health. He lives in Enebyberg, Danderyd. He is interested in music, outings, and socializing with others. He is happiest when he feels seen and receives affirmation, and when you communicate and have a close social interaction with him. Communication and total presence in interaction with him are crucial as he has difficulties with communication. You who are applying for the position should be a woman between 25 and 60 years old, and you should be active and alert, cheerful and positive, and have a great sense of presence. The client who requires assistance has multiple disabilities, so it is important that you understand that you have a significant responsibility for his overall care and safety; he cannot motivate himself, so you should initiate activities, stimulate him, and ensure that his daily life is meaningful, safe, and pleasant. You can manage outings and spontaneous activities when circumstances allow.

Who are you?

You are an honest and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working and has the ability to create a harmonious atmosphere around you. You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to put yourself in another person's situation and be very attentive. It is important that you understand that you have a supporting role and that your client who requires personal assistance has the leading role. It is a merit if you have experience or familiarity with clients who have communication difficulties. We want you to have excellent references, preferably from previous work as a personal assistant or similar qualifications. There are many caring elements involved, so it is also a merit if you have experience with: PEG, CPAP, and if you have experience with individuals who are: infection-sensitive, have lung issues, and epilepsy. Working hours and employment rate:

Day, evening, and weekend shifts. There is a schedule available for 50% with the possibility of also 100%. We are also looking for substitutes during regular assistants' absences, both acute and planned.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensation according to collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement
