Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a woman in her 55s living in Lidingö
• Is positive, attentive, and takes initiative
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is tolerant and comfortable with dogs
• Is smoke-free (during working hours)

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience in personal assistance or similar work
• Have experience working with track, suction machine, and mucus suction
• Have a driver's license and a car

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 80%. The job involves working between 14:15 and 22:15. You will work 3-5 shifts/week, with shifts scheduled on both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

The desired start date is May 1, before which you will be offered shadowing that is expected to take about a week.

Being employed at Humana

A requirement for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
