Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who matches the following:

• Wants to work with a man in his 60s living in Nacka
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Is tolerant of pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment level, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position and is approximately 100%. The job involves work during daytime and evening hours. You will work between weeks 29-30 and then between weeks 32-35.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
