Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

Our client lives with her partner in an apartment in Upplands Väsby. She has a great interest in fashion, film, photography, and crafts. She also enjoys traveling and going out to restaurants.

We are looking for someone who is active, enjoys when things happen, and likes to be flexible. You need to be reliable, punctual, and have a good sense of service.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her late 20s living in Upplands Väsby
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience with transfers
• can tolerate cigarette smoke as the client smokes
• can tolerate pets and be around dogs
• is available for work this summer

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience communicating using Bliss or similar
• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer temporary jobs and extend between weeks 26-32.

Position 1 is between the period 24/6-10/8 weeks 26-32 and involves work during day and evening/night with on-call between 02-07 with varying employment rates between 62.5-95%

Position 2 is between the period 21/7-7/8 weeks 30-32 and involves work during day and evening/night with on-call between 02-07 with an employment rate of 70%

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
