We are looking for a personal assistant for a 17-year-old boy for a part-time job at 25% with a fixed schedule, covering afternoons and evenings. This position is perfect for you who may be studying and have extra time to make a meaningful contribution.

The boy lives alternately with his mother and father, which means that the workplace shifts between Vallentuna and Djursholm. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are flexible and comfortable working in both locations. In one of the homes, there is a dog, so it is important that you are not allergic. The boy enjoys swimming, swinging, listening to music, and spending time with animals. He also loves to converse in his own way, and it is important to have patience as the same topics often recur. He has good mobility but reduced motor skills, which may require extra support in certain situations.

As a personal assistant, you will support him in various activities and provide help where needed. You should be comfortable assisting with personal hygiene, care, and other daily tasks where support is needed to ensure he receives the help and security he requires. 

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, attentive, and has the ability to adapt to the boy's needs. Communication is a central part of the job, so it is important that you have a very good command of Swedish. The boy uses signs to express himself but understands everything that is said.

Previous experience in similar work is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, enjoy the role, and can create a safe and positive relationship with the boy. A driver's license is a requirement as you will need to drive him to the leisure club.

The employment rate for the position is 25%, but before starting, we offer introductory shifts as a temporary employee to help you feel secure and prepared in your new role. The work follows a rolling schedule and is mainly scheduled for afternoons and evenings. The fixed working hours are Mondays from 4 PM to 9 PM and Tuesdays from 4 PM to 9 PM, with the possibility of work every other Friday from 4 PM to 7:15 PM in Vallentuna.
