Personal assistance is about providing someone else with the service to live their own life on their own terms, and you will become an important part of making that happen. We need assistance with managing the home and household, hygiene, and everything else that comes with a normal life.

We are two brothers in our 20s with extensive disabilities, but with your help, we can live the lives we want and desire. We live in an apartment in Annedal, Bromma, together with our two cats, and sometimes there are two cute little dogs with us as well, so you must not be allergic. It’s a plus if you generally like animals.

You are:

• Going to the swimming pool, visiting museums, or hanging out with friends.
• Keeping our home clean and tidy.

About the position:

• Extent: 50-75% up to full-time
• Staffing responsibility included on a rolling basis after the introduction is completed.
• Your job is always where we are located.
• We both work in daily activities during the day.
• Working hours are varied, but it is a requirement that you preferably work weekday afternoons/evenings and that you can step in extra as needed for day shifts or awake/active night shifts.

We need assistance around the clock, so this is not a 9-5 job. You need to be a person who can and enjoys working variably. We are looking for someone who takes their job and role seriously and is seeking long-term employment.

We both have personal assistance, and you will alternate working with one of us at a time. We want to find someone who is flexible and enjoys variety. Since we do not like the same things and have different needs, your work will vary depending on whom you are providing service to.

You need to speak and write Swedish fluently as we also need support with AAC and TAKK; if you have previous experience with this, it is a big plus!

Salary is individual and determined by agreement with Assistans i Balans, who will be your employer.
