ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for a personal assistant for our client in Bromma. We offer you the opportunity to start as a substitute already now, with a chance to continue after the summer. During weeks 25-32, there is also the possibility of a larger substitute position of about 50% and extra as needed. As an assistant to our client, you need to be able to work all types of shifts – day, evening, and night.

Before week 25 and after the summer, you have the opportunity to work approximately one shift per week.

The working hours are:

• Weekdays: 08:00-15:00, 15:00-21:00, and 21:00-08:00 (awake night)
• Friday - Sunday: 08:00-18:00 and 18:00-08:00 (awake night)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 45s who is paralyzed, has a tracheostomy, and uses a wheelchair. Your main tasks will include tracheostomy care, personal care, and transfers using mobility aids available in the home. You will also be responsible for managing the home ventilator.

The client is interested in games and music. Despite being paralyzed, he can play on the computer with the help of various aids.

As an assistant, you should be a calm person, preferably with an interest in games, music, or culture. You will be trained and receive delegation to manage tracheostomy and home ventilator, enabling you to work with these aids.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in care or equivalent
• Be available for work between weeks 25-32

PREFERABLE

• Experience working with tracheostomy and home ventilator
• Care education
