JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a driven and committed special education teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities (IF). The position involves teaching according to the adapted primary school's curriculum and includes mentorship, guidance, collaboration, and more during the workday. Teaching primarily takes place in subjects at the adapted school's upper secondary level.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and work based on the student's needs and interests, both individually and together with your colleagues. You work in a structured manner in your teaching and apply an inclusive approach. You have good pedagogical tools, find new paths to the goal easily, and use low-arousal responses. You collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff and actively participate in the school's development work.

Sometimes you accompany students in the adapted school as an extra resource when they collaborate, i.e., studying one or more subjects together with the primary school. In some cases, this may involve subjects outside your qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher with a special education degree, focusing on intellectual disabilities. You have the qualifications to teach Swedish, English, and preferably also music.
