Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are looking for a creative communicator to SUF Knowledge Center (where SUF stands for Collaboration, Development, Parenting) who wants to help create engaging content for our social media, website, and newsletters. If you have experience with graphic design tools and production of moving material, this could be exciting for you!

We are a small unit with a large knowledge mission across a broad arena, and we offer a creative work environment, friendly colleagues, and varied assignments. Your mission

In your role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, evaluating, disseminating, and managing information and communication efforts. This will be based on the tasks below;

• Create and publish content for social media, website, and newsletters
• Produce materials, illustrations, and printed materials as well as image/video editing
• Participate in planning and execution of training, conferences, and web broadcasts
• Create invitations, manage registrations, and handle evaluations
• Receive and verify invoices

Your competence

You have a relevant university degree, vocational training in media and communication, or folk high school. In addition, you have experience working in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as experience working in EPI-server and accessibility adaptation for the web.

You can illustrate and produce images and moving material of high quality and have good knowledge of quality standards. Experience working with printed materials and delivering originals in various formats is an advantage.

You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge based on different conditions and can relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. It is also meritorious if you have experience in tailoring communication for various target groups such as professionals, national authorities, and parents with cognitive difficulties.

To succeed in this role, it is important to be self-driven while the work is based on collaboration, anchoring, and teamwork. You are structured and can plan and execute work effectively while keeping deadlines, and at the same time, you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances.

Our operations

The SUF Knowledge Center (SUF-KC) belongs to the Near Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala and is operated in collaboration with the county's eight municipalities (Heby, Håbo, Enköping, Knivsta, Tierp, Uppsala, Älvkarleby, and Östhammar). The mission is to develop knowledge, gather and disseminate knowledge, methods, and approaches, and contribute to collaboration across organizational and principal boundaries regarding:

• Parenting when a parent has intellectual disabilities or other cognitive impairments affecting parenting ability.
• The situation and support needs of children in these families

SUF-KC primarily targets professionals who meet families but also serves as a knowledge provider to parents, children, students, researchers, and decision-makers at both local and regional and national levels. The Knowledge Center's mission also includes drawing attention to central actors on structural improvement areas regarding parenting with cognitive difficulties. The UN conventions on the Rights of the Child and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, as well as the National Strategy for Strengthened Parenting Support, form the basis for SUF work.
