The Department of Education, Educational Science, and Sociology (EDU) conducts research, doctoral education, undergraduate education, and commissioned education in pedagogy, didactics, and educational sociology. EDU also offers several master's programs. EDU has about 250 employees, including around 175 teachers/researchers, 45 doctoral students, and 30 administrators. Job Responsibilities

The position includes financial administrative tasks, such as supplier and customer invoices, internal and external billing, asset register, and financial follow-up. Assist in arranging travel and booking hotels and meeting rooms. Shared purchasing responsibility in the Proceedo system. The role also includes responsibility, together with another financial administrator, for the department's diary and archive, as well as other general administrative work. The work is independent but requires close collaboration with the department's economists/financial administrators, operational managers, and department management.

Qualifications

A university degree in finance/accounting or equivalent competence deemed comparable by the employer. Broad experience in independent financial administrative work and experience in travel and meeting arrangements. Excellent computer skills and very good language skills in Swedish and English are required. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, including collaboration and initiative skills, organizational ability, independence, and flexibility. An outgoing work approach and a willingness to provide good service are essential for this position.

Desirable/meritorious

Experience working with Raindance and Proceedo is meritorious. Experience in archive management and diary keeping is also advantageous.

About the Employment

Individual salary setting applies. The employment is temporary until 2026-01-31. The position is 100% full-time. Start date is 2025-06-01 or by agreement. Location: Uppsala.
