Your mission
With us, you will have all the basic tasks that are part of the role of a medical secretary at a health center. You are expected to work partly at the cash register/reception where you meet our patients and are our face to the outside world, staff our administrative phone line, and together with colleagues be responsible for other administration. The secretary group also has other tasks such as IT support, responsibility for invoicing, some scheduling, and miscellaneous support. Here you will be an important part of a well-functioning team with long experience and a good collaborative climate. Your working hours will be scheduled between 07:00 and 17:00 according to a varying schedule, and all work will take place on-site at the health center.
Working within Close Care and Health
Working as a medical secretary means that you are part of a coordination where collaboration between health centers exists regarding dictation transcripts, which means that you may need to write dictation for another health center as needed.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary and has experience working in primary care; it is an advantage if you also have experience working as a secretary within the Close Care and Health administration to which Gottsunda Health Center belongs. It is also advantageous if you are a licensed nursing assistant.
With us, the days are often varied, and you will work both individually and together with other secretaries and healthcare staff. Your ability to be flexible is an important part of the job as you will need to switch between tasks during the week and day according to the needs of the operation.

For this role, it is important that you enjoy providing service and meeting people from different backgrounds and needs. We see it as an advantage if you speak multiple languages in addition to Swedish and English.
Our operations
Gottsunda Health Center is part of the Close Care and Health administration and is located in newly built premises in Gottsunda center, in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have about 14,000 registered patients and approximately 70 employees. Our operations are broad, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented; general practitioner reception, nursing home, child health center, maternity care, family center, and youth clinic. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we believe makes working with us particularly varied and interesting. The health center values accessibility, long-term commitment, and continuity. We have good collaboration among professionals and help each other in everyday tasks, big and small.
