We are now looking for an engaged and analytical business controller for Region Uppsala, located at Akademiska sjukhuset, who works to optimize and develop healthcare operations through careful monitoring and analysis. You will help develop our financial and operational processes, ensure efficient resource utilization, and thereby contribute to quality care for our patients.

In the role of business controller, you will support department heads and their managers in conducting in-depth analyses of the relationships regarding production and financial results. You will be responsible for driving and supporting planning and budgeting work, monitoring, analysis, and forecasts. Your responsibilities will include operational areas with an annual turnover ranging from approximately 100 to 900 million SEK. You will collaborate with other functions and resources within your department and other region-wide support functions. Additionally, you will be involved in developing control models that include measures for cost control, productivity development, and production management, as well as revenue and customer analysis.

We are now looking for a business controller to be placed at Akademiska sjukhuset. As a business controller, you will be part of the department for operational financial support. The department has 17 employees, including three group leaders, and is part of a larger unit of approximately 30 employees that constitutes the collective controller support of Akademiska sjukhuset. Organizationally, the unit is part of Region Uppsala's coordinated financial function and belongs to the administration Regionkontoret, department of finance and management.

The position is a permanent full-time employment.

We are looking for someone who has: • Academic education in economics or equivalent • Several years of experience working with controller tasks or equivalent • Familiarity with working in a complex system environment with ERP systems, BI systems, and Excel • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have competence and experience in: • The healthcare sector • Agresso/Unit4 As a person, we see that you are social, forward-thinking, and open.
