Note! This assignment is a consulting position, which means you will be employed by Stegra and rented out to the client during the assignment period.
About the role
As a payroll administrator, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring salary payments for the company's employees, from unionized staff to the CEO, as well as ensuring that both salaries and pensions are handled correctly. You will administer salaries for approximately 400 employees and, together with your colleagues in HR and Payroll, manage the entire payroll process, including follow-ups, statistics, and system administration. Your work will involve ensuring accurate salary payments, performing reconciliations, and providing support in complex payroll issues. The role also requires clear communication with both Swedish and international employees.
As a payroll administrator, you will be a central part of updating and following the company's policies and procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, as well as reporting to authorities such as the Swedish Tax Agency and the Social Insurance Agency.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with relevant education in finance, payroll administration, or equivalent, as well as several years of experience in payroll management and administration. You have a deep understanding of the entire payroll process and are accustomed to working with payroll systems and Excel, as well as having a good ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new IT systems.
As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have an eye for detail. You are confident in handling complex payroll issues and making well-founded decisions based on laws, regulations, and collective agreements. Your communication skills will be of great importance, as you will regularly provide support in payroll matters to employees and managers, including international colleagues.
Requirements for the position
- Several years of work experience in payroll administration
- Relevant education in finance and payroll administration or equivalent
- Experience with the payroll system Agda
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills and understanding of IT systems as well as Excel
Meritorious
- Certification in payroll administration
